Intro to Newton

I'll put some biographical material in here one day. The fact that he was such a nasty bastard limits my interest in celebrating him as a man.

He did give us his three laws of motion, among other things, and these remain one of the cornerstones of the study of Physics at the high school level.

His three laws are studied in detail, but in my experience as an assessor they are not well understood. Of greatest concern is the lack of understanding of when to apply the first and third laws. These are frequently confused so I will attempt to explain them here.
